Through a comprehensive analysis of the recent surge in book bans across U.S. schools, PEN America’s Banned in the USA: Beyond the Shelves report illustrates how politically motivated censorship disproportionately targets works that address race, LGBTQ+ issues, and historical injustices, thereby undermining educational freedom and diversity of thought. This wave of censorship, spearheaded by certain advocacy groups and restrictive state policies, not only limits students’ access to critical perspectives but also threatens the foundation of an inclusive, informed democracy.

Design Development
In creating the book report, I went through the process of locating environmentally-friendly paper to elevate the reader's experience. From there, I went about the process of binding the book myself from cover to cover and creating the infographic inserts.
